- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 teaspoons red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, red chili flakes, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, lime juice, and honey. Add chicken and ensure it’s well coated in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for best flavor).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and charred.
- Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced chicken on a platter drizzled with pan sauce and garnished with chopped green onions and cilantro if desired.
Notes
- Marinating the chicken for longer enhances the flavor.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of chili flakes to taste.
