This delectable chocolate almond toffee is the perfect sweet treat for any occasion.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped toasted almonds
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish or baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly butter it.
- In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add sugar and salt, stirring constantly.
- Cook the mixture until it reaches a deep amber color or 300°F on a candy thermometer (about 8–10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the hot toffee onto the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Wait 1–2 minutes, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let them soften, then spread the chocolate smoothly.
- Top with chopped almonds, pressing gently so they stick.
- Cool completely at room temp for 2 hours or refrigerate 30–45 minutes.
- Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!

- Ensure that the butter is unsalted for the best flavor.
- Chop the almonds finely for a better texture in the toffee.
