Description

This BBQ Tofu recipe is a delicious and easy plant-based dish that is perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz extra firm tofu
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¾ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • Sea salt (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Drain tofu and pat dry with a towel.
  2. Cut the tofu into large cubes or strips.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan on medium, add olive and sesame oil. Cook tofu on each side until brown.
  4. When tofu is cooked on each side, add BBQ sauce and soy sauce. Turn heat to medium low. Stir gently and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add chili flakes if desired.
  6. Serve immediately with rice.
