Description

A spicy and tangy pineapple habanero sauce perfect for enhancing your dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
  • 23 habanero peppers, seeded for less heat (leave seeds for extra heat)
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Simmer pineapple, habaneros, vinegar, water, garlic, salt, and sweetener for 15–20 minutes until soft.
  2. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Stir in chili flakes and cilantro.
  4. Cool and store in a sealed jar in the fridge.

Notes

  • This sauce can be adjusted for heat by keeping the seeds in the habaneros.
  • Serve as a condiment for tacos, grilled meats, or as a dip.
