A delicious cream cheese cheese ball with a tropical twist from crushed pineapple and a crunchy pecan coating.

- 16 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup crushed pineapple very well drained
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup green onions finely sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup pecans finely chopped
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the 16 oz softened cream cheese, 1 cup very well-drained crushed pineapple, 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup sliced green onions, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up.
- Transfer the chilled mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into one large ball.
- Spread 1 cup finely chopped pecans on a plate and roll the cheese ball over the pecans, pressing gently so they fully coat the surface.
- Wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture.

- Serve with crackers or vegetables for dipping.
