Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 tsp taco seasoning (or to taste)
- 1 cup refried beans (optional)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (for serving)
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and a splash of water; stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Lay a tortilla flat and spread a layer of refried beans in the center.
- Add a portion of the beef mixture, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and jalapeños if using.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll from the bottom up to form a wrap.
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Cut the wraps in half and serve with sour cream on the side.
Notes
- Customize the filling based on personal preferences by adding other vegetables or sauces.
