Description

A creamy and delicious dip made with ground beef, Velveeta cheese, and Rotel tomatoes, perfect for parties or game day!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, green onions
  • Tortilla chips or bread, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the Crock Pot.
  3. Add cubed Velveeta, Rotel tomatoes (with juices), garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Set Crock Pot to low and cook for 1 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  5. Once melted and well mixed, taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with optional toppings, and keep on the warm setting during serving.
  7. Pair with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or crusty bread.
  8. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
