Description

Delicious and healthy turkey avocado wraps, perfect for a quick meal!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather ingredients on a clean countertop; dice tomatoes, slice avocados, and shred cheese.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey for 7-10 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in chipotle sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  4. Lay out tortillas; layer turkey mixture, lettuce, avocado slices, tomatoes, cheese, and optional sour cream.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla; roll tightly from one end to the other.
  6. Cut wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately or wrap in foil for an on-the-go meal.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more chipotle sauce.
  • These wraps can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
