Description
A delicious creamy chicken rotini dish made in one skillet.

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 8 oz apple chicken sausage, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and sear until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook sliced apple chicken sausage until lightly browned. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and diced tomatoes with their juice. Stir in uncooked rotini pasta.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is al dente and most liquid is absorbed, stir in parmesan cheese and return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
- Feel free to add additional vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
