Description

A delicious spiced apple cider perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 quarts apple cider (divided)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 (12 oz) can orange juice concentrate
  • 4 cups ginger ale (chilled)

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 cups of the apple cider into a saucepan. Add the sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the orange juice concentrate and continue to cook and stir until fully combined.
  3. Refrigerate until fully chilled.
  4. Pour the spiced cider mixture into a large pitcher. Add the remaining 6 cups of apple cider. Top off with the ginger ale.
  5. Stir lightly to combine, then serve.

Notes

  • This spiced apple cider can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
  • For a stronger flavor, let it simmer for longer.
